MASTERCLASS 'but who is the master?' About the master class studying the primary form - drawing and painting. In advance the participants can say which themes and techniques they want to study. To look at other participants working results from this perspective can be interesting. To give this aspect the necessary attention I reserve extra time for the follow-up discussion. The interpretation of an assignment is unrestricted, but the assignment is based on three possibilities: – given by me and practiced by group, – given by me and practiced individually, – given by a participant and practiced individually or by group. The master class studying the primary form develops further the following elements: – studying form and colour – finding new inner sources – making the personal language of images more explicit – giving new stimuli – studying and practising in depth the meaning of form – creating by way of association – improving painting techniques The maximum participants per workshop is 6 if it takes place in my studio. Also participants can work in their private studio rooms on the terraces or in nature. Location is the culture and guesthouse Babayan in Ibrahimpasa, Cappadocia Turkey. A list with materials will be given and all sketching paper is free, easels and tables are available.
